Judging will commence at 4:00 pm.

CLASS 44.  The IRISH SHOWS ASSOCIATION AND THE OUGHTERARD SHOW SOCIETY PRESENT A QUALIFIER FOR THE

 ALL-IRELAND DONKEY MARE AND FOAL.

Prize fund:  €1,000.

Rules and Conditions:

1. This championship is for Donkey Brood Mare and foal.

2. Entries for Donkey Brood Mares with Colt or Filly foal at foot.

3. All exhibitors must have the Dam’s passport (in accordance with EU legislation for all entries, which includes donkeys) ready for inspection at the qualifying show and final.

4. More than one Donkey Brood Mare and Foal may qualify if the judges and the ISA agree that the standard is high enough.

5. Each qualifying mare and foal will be awarded €20 on appearance at the final in Ballinasloe.

There will be a confined class for Colt or Filly Donkey Foal, the progeny of the qualifying Donkey Brood Mare, in this Championship.  (Prizes in kind.)

Entry Fee to qualifying show:  €7.         Entry Fee to final:  €10.

Final:  Ballinasloe Show, Saturday 2nd October, 2010

Entry Fee: €5.00

Prize money:  1st €50, 2nd €30, 3rd €20.

CLASS 45.  FEMALE DONKEY with or without foal. 

CLASS 46.  DONKEY FOAL born after 01/01/10. 

CLASS 47.  MALE DONKEY 2 years old or older. 

CHAMPION OF DONKEY SHOW.  

Prize:  €50 & Sash

(Open to winners of Classes 46 and 48)

DONKEY DERBY.

 Prize:  Plaque and Sash.

Weather permitting, this will take place after the judging at approximately 5:00 pm.
