Competitors in this class cannot compete in any other dressage test on the day.

Championships start at 10.00 a.m. Sharp with Class A
Ring 3
A. 4 / 5 yr old Mare or Gelding Registered Connemara Ridden Championship, Rider any age. No Qualification required for this class.
B. Championship Connemara Ridden Final, Rider Over 16.
C. Championship Connemara Ridden Final, Rider Under 16.
Ring 4
D. Championship Connemara Working Hunter Final, Rider Over 16.
E. Championship Connemara Working Hunter Final, Rider Under 16
Ring 3
F. Stallion Ridden Championship, Rider over 14.
Supreme Championship
Open to 1st Prize winners from A, B, C, D, E and F for the Michael Dillon Perpetual Cup Kindly Sponsored by Pat Dillon.

Rules:
1. Working Hunter, and Dressage Classes are also open to non Connemara ponies
2. Non IPS / NPS / BSPS members pay for daily membership at a charge of €5 per rider + €5 per owner, with their first, entry payable with entries.
3. Date of Birth as of 01/Jan/10 in all classes
4. All classes run under IPS rules and the decision of the appeals committee in all classes will be final.
5. All objections must be lodged in writing and submitted within 30 minutes of class completion with €50 objection fee. This fee will be returned should the objection be upheld.
Note:
Random Drug testing of competing animals and competitors may take place at the discression of the Irish Sports Council, I.P.S., HSI or the Connemara Pony Breeders Society.
N.B. Championship Final Rules:
· Riders and Ponies must have qualified at approved shows.
· Competitors must produce Connemara Passports at Final.
· Birth Cert. for Under 16 riders to be produced on day of Final
· Fence Heights at Final Under 16 2.9” (84cms) Over16 3” (92cms)
· Stallions, with IPS / NPS/ BSPS council permission may compete riders over 14 only.
· Stallions although qualifying through regular ridden classes will be
competing in their own Ridden Final (F) at Championship Finals.
· Stallions will be ineligible to compete in classes A , B and C. |
